I prefer to camp, in my TC, with the tents. Although the bears could break into the TC, I think they would go for the easy meal. For those of you that think I am cold, keep in mind, the tent folks are going to be there anyway.

As I said earlier, I had no problem with using Credit Cards, but I did observe the practice of seeing several hundred dollars leave my checking account, via the debit card, for hours at a time. The stations were only protecting themselves, not trying to cheat me.
I don't think I'll use the debit card - I don't think I could stand seeing several hundred dollars leave my checking account and then get credited. Did you go into the station? If so, they would know what pump you were at and they still charged all that extra? Did that happen at all stations or was it just certain chains?
Has anyone else experienced this scenario with their debit card?
(Our debit card does not charge any extra %, but our Visa adds .01%. I believe the .01% would be better than having too much debited out and having to keep track of refunding, etc.)
Buying gas in Canada
Does anyone know if we could use our bank debit card at Canadian gas stations? Or would we have to pay with cash or use our Mastercharge card? Thanks.
